The Future of the Internet: Advanced Segmentation and Liquid

This week on the Copyblogger Podcast, I talked with Brennan Dunn of RightMessage about segmentation, liquid web, and the tool he created to help people market more like humans. (Listen here.)

Since having this conversation, I have continued my research on some of the advanced segmentation strategies Brennan teaches on his blog and in his courses, and I have been blown away.

I remember feeling this way around 2010, when one of my friends introduced me to Email Marketing for the first time. Until that point, I had only been growing my audience through my FeedBurner RSS account. I also remember feeling this way when I first learned about email marketing automation, when another friend showed me Infusionsoft for the first time.

Today, email marketing and email marketing automation are normal parts of our everyday businesses. We don't think twice about them.

I am convinced that advanced on-site segmentation and liquid are the future in the same way that email marketing and email marketing automation were when I first learned about them.
