Turn Descriptions Into Numbers People aren't very convinced by vague descriptions of benefit. There are two solutions to that. The first is to get specific with your copywriting. Don't write "many satisfied customers." Write something like "4.91-star average on 1,214 reviews." Specificity sells. But you can do a lot better than that. Things get ultra-persuasive when you provide numbers for what you've done yourself, clients, and customers. "Get more customers with CRO" doesn't convince. "Our average client sees a 31% rise in conversion rate" does. 2. Turn Benefits Into Stories I've been getting a lot of ads from SEO agencies lately. I won't be hiring any of them, but I can tell you which ones have been catching my eye and which haven't. The worst of them just promise a generic benefit like "get more clients and customers with search engine optimization." The best ones turn their benefits into stories. One example was an ad that started with something like "We got {business} 11,412 clicks last month" Another was a story told by the founder that differentiated the brand and added personality. Both were much more effective. 3. Turn Asks Into Offers People who do cold outreach or ads almost always ask you for something. They want you to spend your time on a call or your money on a service. Asking right away often works when selling products, but with services, it's usually better to flip things around. The best cold outreach and service ads offer you something. A free audit. A free sample of the service. If you do that, you'll likely get lots more replies, clicks, conversations, and clients. That's especially true if you're a beginner who doesn't have a ton of proof yet. 4. Give It An Hour My partner posted this on X a few days ago: If you truly care about something, give it an hour a day every day for a year. Maybe you skip a few here and there, but you should show up almost every day. That's the bare minimum. Do it. See what happens. - Tim P.S.
