Bookmarkable Content One way to think about which content you should be creating is asking yourself, "would somebody bookmark this?" The first reason why is that social media algorithms track bookmarks. They count as engagements. The second reason why is that a bookmark is a sign that a piece of content impacted someone. Whether it's an emotion they want to feel again or a valuable concept, bookmarks indicate high content quality. 2. Results Mentions One of the most powerful things you can do in content is mentioning results you've driven for past clients and customers. This is powerful because it creates awareness and trust for the offer at the same time. If you create a piece of content that's valuable or emotion-creating, that's great, but most readers won't click on your profile, so they won't know or trust what you sell. A quick, organic-feeling results mention fixes that. 3. Quick Networking Tip When I was a rookie creator, I connected with and got followed back by a lot of big accounts. That led to people seeing that those accounts followed me, which was instant social proof and led to getting more. The trick? Telling them I had nothing to sell them. That got their guard down and made them more likely to accept. Big accounts are constantly getting pitched. If you make it clear that you're not, you'll do better. 4. Lesson From The Build My X account was struggling late last year. It had been for a while. So I decided to switch things up and start posting book-aesthetic quotes. Some from books. Others from myself. It instantly started working pretty well. Now it's working even better. I just had my best week ever on the platform, and this will be my best month ever too.
