You Can't Just Be A Writer I love writing. That's how I started in the entrepreneurial game, and it (combined with sales) is how I earned most of my money over the past decade. But you can't just be a writer. You have to bring in some visuals. That doesn't mean you need to be a TikTok star, but you should absolutely add photos to your blog posts and social media posts, and you should consider creating video content. Start small with visuals, then scale up. 2. Start With Business, Add In Content I know a lot of people who get insane impressions numbers on social media but barely make any money. Same for blog posts. That's because they started with content and then tried to build a business on top of it. Instead, do the opposite. Start with your solution. Ideally, make it expensive. Then bring in content to get eyeballs on it. Don't ask "how can I go viral?" Instead, ask "how can I reach more of my ideal customers?" 3. A Few Kinds Of AIO "AI optimization" is hot in the SEO world right now. There are two primary kinds, though. The first is getting mentioned by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok inside the chatbox when people talk to it. The other is getting in the AI blurb that Google puts on around 45% of its searches. I won't get into specifics on these now, but they're both important. Start doing some research on them and see what you find. 4. Lesson From The Build I continue to believe that the best way to build a company is in a relatively small niche. "The riches are in the niches" is a classic quote that keeps getting proven over and over again in my time building companies. My main focus right now is lead gen for New Age Healthcare. Not lead gen for healthcare, and definitely not lead gen for anyone who's willing to pay me. That's my little niche. Find your own, and stick to it. - Tim P.S.
