Let's start with a sponsor, then we'll do your 4 tips.
Turn Your Passion Into Income (Free Event)
Online communities are one of the best businesses you can build. Not only do they provide profit on autopilot, but they can also be a ton of fun.
Learn how at the People Magic Summit—a free 2-day virtual event where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at how experts like Rachel Rodgers and Dan Martell have built multi-million dollar communities and courses.
It'll be on Wednesday April 23rd at 10:30 am ET. But even if you can't make it live, you can still register now, get the recording, and watch whenever.
When editing content, ask yourself the following questions: Could this be more clear? Could this be more valuable? Could I add photos? Could it build more trust in my brand? Could it have a mention of my paid offer?
The first three give you a better shot at getting found on Google or social media. The last two give you a better shot at selling. Don't just publish right after finishing. Add persuasive and sales elements for quick upgrades.
2. Quick Blog Tip
Some pages on your website will get a lot of clicks. Others will get a lot of conversions. Ideally, you want them to be the same, but they aren't always, and that's okay. There's an easy fix that way too many people overlook.
It's putting an internal link from the traffic page to a high-converting one. That might mean an actual sales page. It also might mean a blog post that converts well. Either way, add that link and capture a lot more business.
3. The Two Paths I Like Best
Talk to 10 entrepreneurs, and you might get 10 different recommendations for how to build your income. But there are two paths that I think are best because they have high upside but very low downside.
The first is learning a skill, selling it as a freelancer, then starting an agency. The second is the same except you get into info products or group coaching instead of the agency. Both require $0 to start and can end up huge.
4. Lesson From The Build
Today we have two lessons. The first is something I used to tell myself when I was struggling to stay sober. "This too shall pass." It's so simple you might roll your eyes, but try saying it to yourself in tough times. It might help.
The second is "just keep showing up." Another cliche. But it's the world's most powerful mindset. I struggled so much when I first got into business. But I kept taking swings and eventually got a home run. I hope you do too.
