Many of those will turn into customers. A few might turn into clients. There was more to it, but this shows you the important parts: This reminded me of an evergreen principle, which is to share stories. Ones about you create fans. Ones about your customers get you more customers. Use both of those often. On social media and inside blog posts. 2. Two More Content Types Stories are a great type of content, and a great thing to inject in other types. The two other types that I absolutely love are solutions to problems (how-to guides, listicles, etc) and customer/client case studies. I'll give you one more bit of value too. You can combine these types. For example, add a one-sentence mention of client results at the top of a piece of content, then solve a related problem. That's the best of both worlds. 3. What To Ask Your Customers Once you get a few customers, they become your top asset. Not just because they pay you. But because you can ask them for information and little favors that help you get even more customers, and faster. Ask them for testimonials, referrals, and feedback. Those give you powerful persuasion tools, more clients, and info that'll improve your offer. All are gold. Do it periodically (maybe once every 3 months) and try to incentivize them to take action, especially when getting referrals. 4. Lesson From The Build I've learned this lesson 1,000 times. Still, I sometimes get away from it. But I always bring myself back, and it always leads to more profit in the short term and the long term. Figure out what generates the most sales for it, and do it daily. That's it. If it's content creation and cold DMing, do that daily. Do it before you do anything else. Make it a non-negotiable.
