Now, here are your 4 strategies and insights... 1. The 10-Second Test In the first 10 seconds of someone reading your landing page or social media profile, they should know exactly what you do, who you do it for (if applicable), that you're good at it, and why you're a uniquely good option. That means you need to be clear, add social proof, and communicate positioning in the hero of landers and banner/bio on LinkedIn/X. No delay. No creating mystery. Put it right at the top. Make it totally obvious. 2. Should You Have a Full Website? 5 years ago, the owner of Copyblogger asking this question would make you check the date to see if it was April Fool's Day. But the market has changed a lot since then, especially with the rise of AI. My current position is that if you're building a company larger than yourself, you should have a site. If you're a freelancer or coach, it likely makes more sense to just have a simple landing page, form, or Calendly. 3. How To Make $1,000 An Hour I know a lot of people who earn over $1,000 an hour for their services. The thing is, their clients have no idea they're paying that much. That's because the client is buying an outcome. They don't care about time spent. This is a good reminder that, unless your offer makes it so you basically have to, you shouldn't charge by the hour. Charge for specific outcomes (like per lead generated) or monthly. That's how you cash out in a big way. 4. Lesson From The Build I still talk to people every week who are afraid to post content. I think the key to getting over that is understanding the spotlight effect. You're the star of your life, but everyone else is the star of their own life too. Which means nobody really cares what you do. They either don't notice at all, or they do but forget in a few seconds. So just try. If you fail, it won't matter. If you succeed, you'll change your life in all kinds of ways. - Tim P.S.
